Edgegap is seeking a Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for the company. The Sales Director will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the technology industry. They will also have strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to build and manage a high-performing sales team. The sales Director will be expected to attend industry conferences and events to network and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the product & engineering team to develop tailored growth plans for the accounts in your portfolio and ensures the customer meets their success metrics.

  • Own the relationship with your customer portfolio, including communicating with stakeholders on a regular basis and in response as required, while establishing deep and wide relationships across the organizations.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with executives in video game studios and publishers around the world

  • Manage key customer relationships and collaborate with the customer success team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

  • Provide feedback to the marketing team based on customers & prospect feedback

  • Create and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective client

What We're Looking For

  • Having a minimum of 5 years of professional experience specifically in business development in the video game industry.

  • Having experience as an account manager or sales role (business development or account manager) in a B2B environment (ideally in SaaS technology).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong relationships with clients.

  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Ability to skillfully manage deadlines, priorities, and expectations, both on a client-by-client basis and across your portfolio.

  • Going above and beyond for clients and being able to demonstrate quantitative and qualitative success resulting from your efforts.

  • The candidate must be based in North America.

  • The position is hybrid, but requires presence at Edgegap's headquarter once a month.
